All animals deserve the right to a happy, healthy environment. Last Chance Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization committed to saving the lives of animals that otherwise would be destroyed.

We have been a licensed 501(c)3 non-profit organization for over 17 years, and have rescued over 27 thousand animals. Most from kill shelters or from research lists. We are diversified in taking in all types of dogs/cats/birds/rabbits - including providing medical, spay/neuter and giving them a chance at life and love.

LCR To The Rescue!

Many of you have about the sad plight of the 353 small dogs, mostly Shih Tzus and Pomeranians.  Please help us turn their lives around.  Donations of money or supplies (bleach, soft canned dog food, blankets, etc) are desperately needed to care for these neglected animals.  Click on the "Donate Now" button on the right and help us provide them with everything they need.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to Pinckney High School National Honor Society who held a Fundraiser for Last Chance rescue and honored us with several donations and gifts of funds! LCR is pround to see our Youth groups supporting animals that are in need, what happens to get these guys to us behind the scenes is hard work but keeping them warm and feed and giving them these gifts allows us to keep going, its all part of the circle needed to give these babies a chance! Thank you!

Adoptions at Pet Provisisons in Brighton

Last Chance Rescue will be at Pet Provisons, 5757 Whitmore Lake Rd, Suite 200, Brighton, MI 48116 on Saturdays from 12:00pm - 3:00pm.  Adoptions are being done right on site, thank you for all the support we receive from all our showing partners!

Wanted:  Van Donation

The Last Chance Rescue is in desperate need of a van donation, animals need to be transported from High Kill Shelters and we need to transport them to showings for adoption as well. Please consider donating a van in working condition to LCR! Your donation is tax deductible, and will assist in getting these babies to a new, safe home!
